Before Christina, Britney and Miley, there was Debbie Gibson. Back in 1987, Debbie Gibson danced onto the pop scene when she released her debut album Out of the Blue. Only In My Dreams was the first single released from the album, and it went all the way to #4. She was every bit as popular as Britney and Miley back in the late 80's, but her fame didn't last nearly as long as Britney's. Back in the late 80's, 2 Live Crew made a lot of noise both on the airwaves and in the courtroom. Their album As Nasty As They Wanna Be caused a tremendous amount of controversy because of the sexual references in the songs and the liberal use of profanity. But, as usual in America, all the negative publicity did was increase the popularity of the album, and it ended up going double platinum. This single, Me So Horny, went all the way to #26 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, which was a pretty good achievement for a rap song back then. Enjoy!

The Hand That Feeds was the first #1 single for Nine Inch Nails on any major music chart. In 2005, they released their album With Teeth, and The Hand That Feeds was the lead single from the album. In addition to topping the Modern Rock charts, the song is also their highest charting single on the Billboard Hot 100 (#31) and the U.K. Singles charts (#7). Enjoy!
