The #1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 charts for this week back in 1999 was Christina Aguilera's Genie in a Bottle. Genie in a Bottle is considered to be her debut single even though she had released a couple of other singles before this one. This was her first #1 hit on the Hot 100 charts and remains her biggest hit to-date. It went to number on various other charts including the U.K. and Canadian singles charts. Enjoy!
